Takes Basket Ball Game From Lexington High School by Score of 28 to 9
The State University basket ball team took their first game from the Lexington High School team Saturday afternoon by a score of 28 to 9. The game was played in the State University gymnasium and was witnessed by a large crowd. The State boys seemed to have the advantage over the High School team, but State made thirteen fouls while only three were called upon the High School boys. State scored twice from her three fouls while the HIgh School scored only twice from thirteen fouls. Fox and Plummer played the best ball for State, while Willis scored the most points for the High School.
