Defeats State College in Basket Ball Game by Score of 28 to 22
In a very stubbornly contested game the Kentucky State College basket ball team went down in defeat in the game played in the State College gymnasium Thursday afternoon. The game began at 3:30 o'clock and was witnessed by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters for both teams. At the end of the first half the score stood 13 to 7 in favor of the visitors. And when the timekeepers' whistle blew for the close of the second half the score stood 28 to 22 in favor of the champions of the Orange and Gold.
Baer, Bryant and Barbee put up the best game for the cadet team, while for the visitors Herring played the star game. He was followed by Williams, White and Moore. The State College team suffered heavily from the rocky decisions of the referee.
