Y.M.C.A. 43; S.C. 32
The game of basket ball played by the State boys against the Cincinnati Y.M.C.A. team Saturday was one of the fastest ever witnessed on local courts. It was apparent from the very outside that the visitors had a faster team, yet the Cadets made them earn every basket. The end of the first half found the score 17 to 6 in Cincinnati's favor. It was in the second half that the Cadets showed their work, keeping the score down to 26 to 16, making a final score of 43 to 22.
Lusik showed up for the visitors, throwing 12 goals. Bryants for K.S.C. throwing 7. Walters for State played an excellent game at guard.
